HEY KIDS!!!
Colour the wintery scene on the next page and enter
the Ivan’s Colouring Contest! All submitted pictures will be put on
display in the Parks and Recreation Office. Extra pictures are
available at the Parks and Recreation office (55 Biggs Dr).
HOW TO ENTER
Submit your completed colouring contest picture to the Parks and
Recreation Office (55 Biggs Dr), Public Library (30 Honour House
Court) or Pat Crossman Memorial Aquatic Centre (400 Whitepine
Rd).
- The deadline to enter the contest is Saturday, February 13th.
- Contest Draw will be held during the Kiddy Carnival on Sunday, February 14th
ELIGIBILITY
- The contest is open to children up to and including Grade 5.
- One entry per person.
PRIZES
- 1st prize Nikon Digital Camera donated by Ivan's Camera
- 2nd place $50 Gift Card to Empire Theaters
- 3rd place $25 Gift Card to Chapters
Essay Contest Information
The 2010 Vancouver Olympic Winter Games will begin on Feb 12th, 2010 - smack dab in the middle of Winterlude! The celebrate the games, the Riverview Parks and Recreation Department is holding an essay contest for students in middle school and high school.
Rules and Guidlines
- The essay must answer the following question: What do the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games mean to you?
- Entries may be handwritten or typed, but must be double spaced.
- High School Division: Less than 400 words
- Middle School Division: Less than 200 words
- Please submit your essay to the Parks and Recreation Office (55 Biggs Drive) or email to aarrowsmith@town.riverview.nb.ca by Tuesday February 16th and include a title page with the following information.
